A. Nicholas “Nick” Loth, Passed peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the age of 72.

Loving Husband of Karen. Devoted dad to Kelly (Jeff) Lavoie, Christine (Jonathan) Brooks, Nick (Shelby) Loth, and Annemarie (Matthew) Lueders. Proud “Pop Pop” of Kaelin Lavoie, Parker Brooks, Faith Loth, and Elise, Vivian, and Andrew Lueders. Nick had a special relationship with his step-daughters Elizabeth (Michael) Angel and Lauren (Kevin) Zaseck, and their children Caroline, Lauren, Reese, and Emelia.

He is also survived by his brothers Gerald (Judy) and Donald (Judy) Loth, and sister Mary (Gary) Sulzer. Nick also maintained a special relationship with his children’s mother, Kari. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Katherine. Nick will be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Nick was a public accountant first serving the City of Wauwatosa for several years and then the City of Milwaukee where he retired in 2005. He served in the Army National Guard for 6 years and was honorably discharged on April 16, 1974. Nick loved the theater and history - especially the Civil War, listening to music, and travel. He was also a dedicated collector of stamps. Nick was a lover of golf and a hater of his score. He was an avid Marquette Basketball and Packer fan. Most importantly, he was the biggest cheerleader and fan of his children and grandchildren.  

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 22 from 4PM until the time of service at 6PM. Private committal services to be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marquette University Breadwinner Scholarship or the National Wheelchair Basketball Association.
