Ada Mae Jones

Ada Mae Jones, age 5, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away on March 21, 2024. She was born on October 2, 2018, in Milwaukee, WI.

Ada spent much of her life at Children's Hospital fighting illnesses, visiting her specialists and filling the therapy gyms with her pterodactyl sounds that everyone knew and loved. Despite her struggles, she was known for her cheerful and uplifting spirit. Ada was always smiling, always laughing and if you did not know Ada was sick, you would not have known by looking at her.

Ada adored her big sister, Annabelle, and cherished moments spent with her family.

She loved playing with her mom's long hair, bouncing on the trampoline, going for walks with her nanny Mackenzie, and spending time with her sister. Ada found joy in simple pleasures like early bedtime, baths, cuddling, fans (especially her dad's fan in his office) and watching her favorite movie, Frozen.

Ada is survived by her loving family: Mom Melissa, Dad Josh, Sister Annabelle, grandparents Sharon, Bob, Michael, Glori, Scott, Greg, Keri, great-grandparents Barbara, and Ray. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and the family she created on her medical journey. She was preceded in death by her great-great-grandparents Elaine and Carl, great-grandparents Vivian, and Charles, Dwight, Great Aunt Kathy, and cousin Rebekah.

An open service to honor Ada's life will be held at Banner Church, 1500 S W Ln, New Berlin, WI 53146, on April 27, 2024. Visitation/Celebration will begin at 10 AM (kids crafts and fun activities to bring the joy, just like Ada did), followed by the service at 1 PM.

Ada's light will continue to shine bright through the memories and love she shared with all who knew her. As well as the foundation made in her name in order to help children with disabilities for years to come.
