I am in Eagle River and remembering my parents friendship with Joanne and Gus. They were very close. This is back when I was 11-13 years old (64 now) and I remember their son, Kurt. Kurt, if you get this, reach back out to me. I am wondering the exact years you were at the cottage in Eagle River. Also, sorry for your mom’s passing. I always thought of her as a very kind woman. Thanks!

I was so sad to hear of JoAnn's passing. We worked together for many years at D&L Manufacturing. She was a consummate professional secretary, knowing all the proper ways to address letters and handle calls, and let's just say.... as I high school student, I needed work. I studied her intently and learned grace and poise over the 9 years together. Prayers for her family. She loved you all dearly. Rest in peace, JoAnn.
