It was an honor to be Kays nurse. I have thought about you all often over the last couple of weeks. Thank you for sharing so many stories about her to me. What an adventurous life she had My love and prayers go out to you all.

Dear Mikayla and Brendan, I was sorry to read your mom’s obituary in today’s Eau Claire paper. Your mom was a lovely lady and a great school secretary. I have very fond memories of the years I taught at St. Marys when Kay was there, and I still remember both of you as elementary school kids! It sounds like she had a very full life after moving, and I would imagine she really enjoyed her grandkids, too. Keeping both of you anf all of Kay’s family in our prayers. Jacquie and Felix Fedie

My Sympathy to all the family of Kay. I was a neighbor at Elk Lake back 60's.
Just last Friday A friend and I were talking about Kay and thinking about calling her and shocked to see she had left us. Kay was a beautiful person inside and out.
I will never forget her. The last time I saw her she came to Eau Claire and three of us had lunch.
I do understand the pain since being a widow for five years.
I am sure she was so proud of her family and she will be in your hearts forever.
I found this poem I do not know the author
A million times I needed you
A million times I cried,
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died
In lifeI loved you dearly
In deathI love you still
In my heart I hold a place
That only you can fill.
It broke my heart to loose you
But you did not go alone,
As part of me went with you
The day God took you home.
Again my deepest Sympathy I will always remember Kay a very special friend.
