Mr Lewis Brasser

Lewis Brasser passed away peacefully and went to be home with his Lord and Savior at the age of 88 on Sunday morning May 14, 2017. He was preceded in death by son Bill and daughter Jean Roskamp, Brother and sister in law’s Wally and Corrine Brasser, Henry Waanders and Carl Sinke. He is survived by his wife JoAnne of 58 years and children: Jane Brasser (Steve Shaver), Bob Brasser, Sue Hoeksema (Scott) son in law Mike Roskamp (Sandy) daughter in law Lynda Latzko Brasser, Sister and Brother in laws: John Waanders (Judy), Cora Mae Sinke, Marilyn Waanders, Jeane Diekema (Tony), Bill Waanders (Pat), Judy Wiers (Bob) and many grandchildren, great grand children, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Becker Ritter Funeral home in Brookfield on Friday, May 19th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. A celebration of Lew’s life will be held at Brookfield Christian Reformed Church on the corner of Burleigh and Lilly Road on Saturday, May 20th at 11:00 AM. Prior to the service there will be a visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be immediately following the service at Wisconsin Memorial Park. After the burial there will be a time of fellowship at the church with a light lunch and refreshments.

If so desired, memorials to Brookfield Christian School Foundation or Brookfield Christian Reformed Church (designate: Missions Fund – Sudan).
