(nee Neher) Of Brookfield. Passed away peacefully on February 15, 2018 at the age of 74. Loving wife of 52 years to Robert. Devoted mother to Michael, Daniel (Gloria), Sallie (Paul) Burkard, Karen (Roger) Torres, Christine (Gary) Benson, Linda (Michael) Riley, and Jennifer (Scott) Ames. Proud grandmother of Ben and Biz Graeff, Amber Prahl, Stephen and Alex Graeff, Annie (Steve) Englebert, Samantha and Jacob Burkard, Melanie and Lauren Torres, Steven, Joey and Garret Benson, Abigail (Ben) Rainwater, Madeline, Austin, and Hannah Riley, and Alexis and Avary Ames; great grandmother of Keircy Prahl and Evan and Connor Englebert. Also survived by her brother Gerald Neher. Mary Ellen was a kind, loving, and caring woman who will be remembered fondly by her family and friends.

Mary Ellen was a seasoned traveler, making trips with Bob to China, England, Germany, and Scotland, even enjoying some cruises. She had fun bowling, socializing, and playing Bunco with the Bunco Beauties. Mary Ellen was also very active in church, joining a group called the Holy Dusters, who helped clean the church on Monday mornings.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 4PM to 7PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church (18255 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53045) on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 11:30AM, followed by committal prayers at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
