Of Menomonee Falls entered into Heaven on Sat. Jan. 27, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of almost 50 years to Andrew C. Yiannias. Loving mother of Dr. Chris (Dr. Lauri Lowenbraun) Yiannias. Cherished Yiayia of Zachary and Mia. She is further survived by special nieces, Nancy Markos and Mary Herzog; special nephews, Chris and Nicas Yiannias; other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tom Magas and sister, Christine Caris.

Nancy was born in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of George and Irene Magas. She married Andrew C. Yiannias on Oct. 20, 1968. Nancy received her Master’s Degree in Public Health at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor; she served as the Director of Public Health for over 30 years. Nancy with her husband were longtime members of the Greek Orthodox faith; attending church at Annunciation Greek Church in Milwaukee for many years. The two things that made her the happiest was being with her grandchildren, Zach and Mia; especially when Mia would sing to her or when she engaged in deep conversations with Zach. . Nancy was a woman who always put others before herself.

A visitation will be held on Sun. Feb. 4, 2018 from 1:00PM until the 3:00 PM Trisagion Prayer at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will take place on Mon. Feb. 5, at 10:00 AM at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2160 Wauwatosa Ave. Wauwatosa, 53213. Please arrive by 9:45AM. Entombment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
