Nanette Dryburgh of Brookfield, Wis. and The Villages, Fla. peacefully passed away on June 24, 2017 from lung cancer at the age of 74. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Scott Dryburgh, along with daughter Jennifer (Mike) Neighbors, grandson Lucas Neighbors, brothers Noel (Wanda) Nienstedt and Randy (Chris) Nienstedt, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Mike Dryburgh.
Nanette lived a happy and full life, enjoying golf, painting, travel, gardening, cooking and sailing. She recently became very interested in painting with watercolors and created beautiful pieces.
She was a travel agent and loved to travel. She visited, among other places, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, Ireland, England, Italy, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Costa Rica, many Caribbean islands, Canada, Mexico and most of the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Nanette grew up in Gillett, Wis. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she and Scott met. They were married in 1965.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thurs., July 6 from 1 PM until the time of service at 4 PM. A reception will follow. Private graveside service will be held at St. Peter Cemetery, North Lake.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, Brookfield, Wis.
