(nee Bolaños) Of Elm Grove & Brookfield. Age 83. Olga passed away peacefully on April 9, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born May 15, 1933 in Managua, Nicaragua to Guillermo and Clarisa Ibarra Bolaños.
Olga loved her family. She was very proud of her five boys and found delight in her grandchildren. Olga is lovingly survived by five sons, Robert (Patti) of Fitchburg, Bryant (Denise) of Deephaven, Minnesota, Stewart (Kari) of Oconomowoc, Steven (Debbie) of Brookfield , and Jeffrey (Jean) of Brookfield; twelve grandchildren, Thomas (Megan), Tara (Peter) Reschenberg, Kate (Erik) Schmitt, Elizabeth (Kevin) Heidenreich, Megan (Ben) Stedman, Bryant Jr, Rebecca (Tom) Malloy, Elizabeth (fiancé Jake Maynard), Michael, Ali, Marta, and André; many great grandchildren; sister, Maria Elena Bolaños, brother, Luis Alberto Bolaños; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert, three brothers & one sister.
Olga moved to San Francisco in 1950 where she met Bob. They married in 1953 in Wauwatosa, and the Milwaukee area became her home. She remained active in the affairs of her home country; Olga was the first woman Consul in Wisconsin and she was the First Honorary Nicaraguan Consul for Wisconsin. While raising her five sons, she was a Realtor and co-founded Signature Realty with Bob. Her flower gardens became a passion and she was a proud member of the Elm Grove Garden Club.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 3 PM until the time of Remembrance Service at 6 PM, followed by a reception at the Funeral Home.
