Born into Eternal Life on October 17, 2017

Taken far too soon and unexpectedly at the age of 68, Scott enjoyed 45 years of marriage to his loving wife, Kathleen F. Weaver (nee Potts).  With an unmatched zest for life, Scott reveled in the successes of their three children, Krista (Aaron) Lipski, Jonathan (Joanna) Weaver, and Michael Weaver.  Prouder still of his two grandchildren, Isabella (Krista & Aaron) and Jacob (Jonathan & Joanna), Scott made sure that they knew they were loved beyond all else!  With an exquisite sense of taste, style, and a flair for art, Scott found the unique and beautiful in everything.  Also left behind are Scott’s aunt and uncle, cousins, other relatives and far too many friends to count!

Scott graduated from Marquette High School (’67), moved on to Marquette University (’71), and finally Valparaiso (’74), where he attained his Law Degree. He practiced law for 30 years, first for Patrick & Hurt and then as a partner with Mudroch, Halaska, & Weaver. After leaving law, Scott worked for such esteemed institutions as Strong Capital Management, Cardinal Stritch University, Jesuit Partnership, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and VITAS Healthcare. After retirement, Scott enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with family and friends, and was always in pursuit of fine food with a cocktail in hand. Please join us in celebration of Scott’s life at the funeral home on Friday, October 20 with a visitation from 4PM until the time of service at 6PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Spina Bifida Association of Wisconsin, Susan G. Komen Wisconsin, or the charity of the giver’s choice.
