Arlita J. Frantz

A long-time resident of Brookfield, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2018 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Ken Frantz. Dear and devoted mother to 5 children; Dennis Fyksen (Jill, both deceased), Greg Fyksen (Shawn) of Naperville, IL, Jim Fyksen (Lanette) of Sussex, WI, Steve Fyksen of Sarasota, FL and Sue Fyksen-Strom (deceased) (Bill DeJung) and step children Steve Frantz (Rebecca), Linda Martin (Andrew), and Karen Frantz (deceased).

Arlita was the loving grandmother of Tracey Harris, Dennis Fyksen Jr., Jason Fyksen, Katie Orvis, Eric Fyksen, Josh Fyksen, Mike Opat, Brody Opat, Matt Fyksen, Jeff Fyksen, Lindsay Fillinger, Jeremy Fyksen, Nick Fyksen,  Kristoffer Fyksen (deceased), Erika Strom, Garrett Strom.  Sydney Frantz, Austin Dettmann, Tiffany Dettmann, Jaden Martin, Tyson Martin. She is further survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Arlita was born to Frank and Stella (LaBonne) Lloyd in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin on July 4, 1931 and grew up in Marshfield WI with 5 brothers and 7 sisters; Alberta Strey (Ray, deceased) of Marshfield, Francis (Virene) Lloyd of Montello, Gert (Robert) Feirer, Patrick (Darlene) Lloyd, all of Marshfield, Daniel (Donna) Lloyd of Arizona, Betty Hornung (Wally, deceased) of Wausau, Judy Dix (Larry, deceased) of Appleton and Karen (Leroy) Schmoll of Lake Wales, FL and Verlene “Tiny” Hebert (Ward, both deceased), James Lloyd (deceased) (Marge), Harry Lloyd (deceased), and Helen Paun (Joe, both deceased).

Arlita was a talented artist and produced many beautiful oil paintings, water colors and sketches.  She loved word puzzles, and playing cribbage.  She also enjoyed traveling, especially cruises and touring European countries.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 10:00 am until the 12:00 noon Funeral Service at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home, 14075 W. North Ave., Brookfield, WI. A private family interment will immediately follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
