My sincere condolences on Bernita’s passing. I only met her once, when I traveled with my Dad (Bernard Brady) to Rockford to meet my Aunt, Patricia Brady Lenz, for the first time. Roy and Bernita facilitated my Dad’s first meeting with his sister as well. He was 60 and she was 40 when they met for the first time. Aunt Pat spoke highly of “Aunt Bernita” so I know she was very loved by family. May you find peace knowing she is reunited with those who went before her.

I always knew her as Aunt Bernita - My mother was Patricia Ann Lenz (Brady) - My childhood was filled with numerous memories of yours and Uncle Roy's visits to our home in Rockford. Unfortunately, I was the youngest, and relationships, at that time, were confusing. On several occasions memories and thoughts of you prompted discussions. Rest in Peace-
I want the immediate family to know that Aunt Bernita was admired and cherished.
Thoughts & Prayers,

Dear Marty, Stephen and Erin,
I have been meaning to write to you since you sent your note at Xmas. Then I lost your address, and now here we are. From your note I can't say I am surprised at the obit. The picture here is such a reminder of the lady she was. We shared a lot of fun and some challenges over our 13 years as neighbors. We always thought we were very lucky to have her as our "roofmate". Know that you all have our sympathies. Hugs
