Died peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2018, with family at her side at the age of 93. She is survived by her children, the late Stewart (Sandy) Davis III, Susie (Maurie) Daigneau, Tom (Debi) Davis, Judy (Arch) Pequet MD and Rob (Linda) Davis. Preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Margaret Grede; husband, Walter S. Davis Jr.; a son; and  her only sister Janet Grede Jacobs, she is survived by 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Betty was an active lifelong member of First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa. She generously volunteered at the Congregational Home long before she lived in the independent apartments. As part of the founding families of Brookfield Academy, she gave tirelessly to ensure its success.  Betty was a lifelong supporter and strong advocate of conservative values and American exceptionalism.

Mom made everyone in our family feel special to her, and her friends were dear and many. She will be missed.

The Memorial Service for Betty will be held on Thursday, January 25, at 4:00 PM at First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa, 1511 Church St. Wauwatosa, WI 53213. Family will gather to greet friends following the service.

In celebration of Betty’s life, please give as she did; memorials appreciated to First Congregational Church or Congregational Home or Brookfield Academy.
