Betty passed away peacefully at Lawlis Family Hospice on September 24, 2019, at the age of 87.
She was reunited in heaven with, Bob, her beloved husband of 47 years. Betty was also preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ella (Schneeweis) Worm, and brothers, Donald, Ernest, and Eugene.
Retiring from Briggs and Stratton after 30 years of employment, allowed Betty more time to pursue her interests in crocheting, crafting, holiday baking, and reading.
Together, Bob and Betty enjoyed hosting pool parties for family and friends, camping on the Rock River, snowmobiling, and spending time in Upper Michigan with Bob’s parents, Frank and Inez Organist.
Betty will be dearly missed by her sister, Dolly (Don) Wrobbel, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and caregivers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until the 4:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Becker Ritter Funeral Home, Brookfield, WI 53005
In lieu of flowers, donations to Wisconsin Humane Society or a charity of your choice in Betty’s memory is appreciated.
Heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Boyer and the staff in the Emergency Department, Dr. Al-Saghir of ICU, and the Med./Surg. Unit at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, and the wonderful, caring staff at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. And, thanks and deep gratitude go to the amazing caregivers at Harbor Club and Harbor Cove in Port Washington.
