Carol Ann Ropson

Carol Ropson, a long term resident of Bradenton Florida, made her way back to Wisconsin to spend her final days surrounded by family. Carol passed away peacefully on June 8th, after a short battle with cancer.

Carol was born on December 23rd, 1935 in Milwaukee to William and Emma Beaudoin. She and her husband, Ardin Ropson, enjoyed life through travel, golf, and days on the water at their house on the Bay of Green Bay. Ardin and Carol eventually became full time residents of Florida and enjoyed the many visits from their family and loved ones throughout the years. The two shared many years of memories and happiness together.

Carol led an active lifestyle, enjoying trips to the Beau Rivage, entertaining friends, playing bridge, and was and avid sports enthusiast.

She will be greatly missed by friends and family in both Wisconsin and Florida.

She is preceded in death by her beloved Husband Ardin Ropson, mother Emma Beaudoin, father William Beaudoin, brothers Howard Beaudoin and James Beaudoin, nephew Craig Beaudoin, and niece Ellen Beaudoin.

She is survived by 5 stepchildren, Rob (Debbie) Ropson, Susan Ropson, Steve (Joan) Ropson, Beth (Adrian) Ulatowski, Jane (Tom) Harmeyer and Scott Peters. Along with 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, her brother Don (Joan) Beaudoin, sister-in-law Mary Jean Beaudoin and nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes, a small private gathering will be held in celebration of her life at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
