Lifelong resident of Wauwatosa was born to Eternal Life on Thurs., Jan. 11, 2018, at the age of 86 yrs. She was the daughter of the late John A. and Bernice C. (nee Mannix) Burke. Proud & Loving mother of 11 children, Patricia (Gary) Kokta, William (Raynelle) Hackett, James (Mary) Hackett, Daniel (the late Kumiko) Hackett, Michael (Elizabeth) Hackett, John (Kathleen) Hackett, Catherine (Kurt) Wagner, Eileen (Bill) Kokta, Timothy (Lynn) Hackett, MaryBeth (John) Westly and Stephen Hackett. She is further survived by 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Meyers and Michael Burke; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Catherine was preceded in death by her Husband William F. Hackett; twin sister, Bernice Linscott and sister, Helen Church; brothers, Jim, Tom, and John Burke.

A visitation will be held on Thurs. Jan. 18, from 3:00 PM until the time of the 5:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Jude the Apostle Parish, 734 Glenview Ave., Wauwatosa, WI 53213. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Catherine’s name would be appreciated to the Carmelite Sisters DCJ or Wounded Warrior Project or Priests of Sacred Heart - Franklin.
