Tribute

Cornelius (Connie) W. Sixty, born April 1, 1932 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at AngelsGrace Hospice with his family at his side.

Connie was a proud graduate of Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, WI where his love for music began.  After high school he entered the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and performed around the world. He was also a member of the Marine Badger Detachment for many years.

He was a police officer for the Village of Fox Point for 20 years. He went back to school, attending UW-Milwaukee and graduated in 1980.

Joan and Connie were enthusiastic Disney fans and proud to say they went to DisneyWorld with their family the first year it opened. He enjoyed his ride on the Tea Cups with each granddaughter's first visit to Disney.

Connie and Joan were Green Bay Packer season ticket holders since the days of County Stadium.   He liked to armchair coach every Sunday during Packer games. He loved football, bowling, and was an avid golfer like his father before him.

Connie was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who proudly attended many school and work events with the family.

He is survived by his wife Joan, married 63 years, his daughter Cindy (Mike) Feavel of Waukesha, WI and his son Bruce (Amy) Sixty of Cochrane, WI. He will be greatly missed by his granddaughters Kelli and Mandy Feavel, Savannah and Olivia Sixty.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cecelia and Cornelius, Sr.
