Dolores Ann Barrock

Dolores Ann (Sirgany) AKA “Toots” Barrock of Brookfield WI. at 85, passed away peacefully in Milwaukee with her loving family members providing support. She was born in Charleston South Carolina to the late Mitchell and Mary Sirgany and grew up as a southern bell with a kind heart and lively personality that endeared her to anyone she met. Her charm and good natured disposition followed her to Miami where her family moved to opened several stores in the Miami International airport known as Sirgany International which adorned the airport for many years. She attended Notre Dame College and her favorite moto was “Where’s the Party” which tells you what a lively personality she had. At school she met the love of her life, the late James Barrock. The two married shortly after graduation and moved to Wisconsin where she was the loving mother of 7 children and remained extremely close to each of them, her 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Dolores was not only a wonderful mother and wife of 47 years, she was also a woman who cared about her community and her church St. John Vianney. Her faith kept her strong and gave her guidance throughout her life. She also spent countless hours in service to others supporting her church, community fundraisers including but not limited to cooking Lebanese dishes. She was also an avid tennis player and social poker player.

Dolores was survived by daughter Karen (Kevin) Dunn, son Mitchell (Nancy) Barrock, daughter Sharon (Jay) Dinges, son James Barrock (Susan Watanabe), and son in law Rodney Schliepp, her sister and best friend Loraine (Sirgany) Kayal and husband Raymond Kayal, countless nieces nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her children Nicholas Barrock, Mary Barrock and Susan Schiepp.

Dolores was such a big Green Bay Packer fan she would never allow her services to interfere with the big game so in celebration of her life, services will be held on Saturday January 22, 2022 at St. John Vianney Church located 1755 N Calhoun Rd. Brookfield WI. between 9:30am to 10:45am with a Eulogy to follow at 10:50am. A Catholic mass will follow at 11:00am and funeral thereafter.
