Don Paul Ruedi

Of Muskego, WI, passed away with his family at his side on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in Waukesha, WI at the age of 84.

Don was born July 4, 1934, in Hartford, Wisconsin.  He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Hallie Ruedi (nee Manske); cherished daughters, Lynn Gates and Victoria (Randall) Lusz. He is further survived by his beloved 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, as well as a cousin, nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Josephine Ruedi, Brookfield, WI, and a sister, Marilyn Oswald, Wauwatosa, WI.

Don attended Wauwatosa High School and graduated from Purdue University in 1956 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for Square D (now Schneider Electric) for 38 years. He was a resident of Menomonee Falls, WI, for 9 years and transferred to Raleigh, NC.  Upon retirement, Don and Hallie moved to Smith Mountain Lake, VA, where they lived for 25 years, returning to Wisconsin 2 years ago. Don was a lifetime member of the NRA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home, 14075 W. North Ave, Brookfield, WI.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 1185 W. Sumner St., Hartford, WI 53027.
