Elizabeth "Betty" (Arkin) Staudacher

Elizabeth “Betty” Staudacher (nee Arkin), age 71, found peace on Sunday, February 09, 2020. Betty will be dearly missed by her daughter Sarah (Danny) Kraemer; her grandson Braxton Kraemer; siblings Gary (Peggy) Arkin, Bill Arkin, Cathy (Steve) Heebsh and Joe (Liz) Arkin; her dear nieces and nephews Carrie, Kelly, Brooke and Nick; her Godsons Zak and Joe; her “other” kids Josh, Dan and Rebecca; her dear friend Judy, her childhood friends from St. Rita's, wonderful neighbors Judy and Marie, her “Greek family"  and so many more nieces, nephews, family and friends. Betty is reunited in Heaven with her loving husband of 31 years, Gregory Staudacher, her parents Gerard “Jerry” and Dorothy (nee Rosecky) Arkin and her sister Mary Lynn Brotherhood.

Betty did many things in her lifetime, but none was more important than her family, sharing her passion for cooking and baking, especially Czech food and organizing events. She also brought many extended family together through her love and talent of documenting her family’s genealogy. Betty was also a hair dresser and receptionist for an insurance company. She was a beloved nanny and volunteer for Lincoln Elementary.

Please join us for a celebration of Betty’s life. A memorial visitation will be held at Becker Ritter Funeral Home (14075 W. North Ave, Brookfield) on Wednesday, February 19 from 4 pm until time of service at 6 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the American Lung Association. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Aurora Zilber Family Hospice, the SICU nurses and Dr. Carver for their loving care shown to Betty and her family.

Betty was a warm and loving woman who cared deeply for everyone in her life and made everyone feel like family. She will truly be missed.
