George Coslin passed away peacefully after a long illness on April 12, 2021 at the age of 80 with his loving wife Diane by his side. The two had been married for 56 years. He is survived by his three children Beth (Phillips) Coslin, Tracey Coslin and Carrie Coslin; grandchildren Sarah Makinen and TJ Coslin and brothers Keith Kozlowski and Lance Kozlowski.
Graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Accounting. He spent most of his career working for Safway Steel as a financial analyst. In his spare time especially in later years he enjoyed being active and going to the gym and liked to play tennis with his friends which was also an activity he shared with his children as they were growing up. He was a private in the army where he participated in basic training during the 60’s though he was not part of active service. Despite having a very busy work schedule he always made time for his family and that is why all of us have so many happy memories to look back on with him.
George was a wonderful husband and father who tirelessly sought to make sure his family was well taken care of in all aspects of life whether it be just giving a listening ear or helping us children learning a new hobby. To his wife he was a supportive husband and tried to make sure my Mom was able to accomplish the goals she had for herself in her life
His laughter was infectious especially when he would laugh so hard, he would start crying.
