Howard (Bud) Charles Volz

Passed away peacefully on April 20, 2021 at the age of 92. Dearest husband of Margaret (nee Horner) for 70 wonderful years. Loving dad of Steven (Karen), Robert and Michael (Laura). Loving grandpa of Michael (Katie), Mark, Jaclyn (Derek), and Ryan Volz and Cynthia (Chris) Comer. Great-grandpa of Colton, Christina, Keone, Camryn and Clara. Bud will be missed by his sister, Janet Mason, and many other relatives and friends.

He was a CPA and president of Volz-Genrich for over 30 years.

Howard cherished spending time with his family and best friend Snickers. He liked to travel across the world having been on more than 90 cruises in his lifetime. He also enjoyed walking, playing golf and listening to Vera Lynn and Lawrence Welk. He liked playing blackjack and he would talk forever (it seemed) about methods and strategies. He loved all animals but had a special place in his heart for dogs. He will be missed.

A Gathering will be held on Saturday May 22, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12130 W Center St, Wauwatosa, WI 53222, from 10 AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. A procession to Holy Cross Cemetery will follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to a local animal shelter would be greatly appreciated.
