Irene "Sandy" C. Carroll

Carroll, Irene "Sandy" C., entered into Eternal Life on March 17, 2020 at the age of 93 years. Irene was a born in St. Hedwig, Texas. She moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and worked many years as a secretary for her husband, John A. Carroll, in their insurance business. Throughout her life, Irene gave many volunteer hours to charitable work. She was a caring, generous person who touched the lives of many people with her kindness. She enjoyed trips to Texas and to the Wisconsin Northwoods. Irene loved to spend time with family and friends.

Irene is survived by her children Denise Carroll and Steven Carroll; her sister Ann Gieniec and brother-in-law Jacob Gieniec; her sister-in-law Helen Zaiontz, and by many nieces, nephews and friends. Irene was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth and George Zaiontz; her husband of 42 years, John A. Carroll; her brother George Zaiontz, Jr.; her sister Cecilia Schaefer and her brother-in-law Wallace Schaefer.

Due to the circumstances in place regarding large gatherings, there will be a private family funeral ceremony.

Memorials may be given to St. Mary's Visitation Parish in Elm Grove, Franciscan Place in Brookfield, or to a charity of your choice.
