Was called home after a long and happy life on June 27, 2018 at the age of 79. Married to the love of his life, Edryll, for 57 years.

Proud Grandpa of 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Brother of Barb Halvorson (the late Larry), Marian (Don) Nichols, Karen (Dave) Johnson, Carol Randall (the late Mark), Gary (Mary) Stenseth, Mike (Karin) Stenseth, Mark (Lisa) Stenseth, Russell (Jodi) Johnson, Julene (Bob) Logterman, Char Johnson, Roxanne (JP) Theobald and Rhonda Sutton.
Jim married into the Clarence and Adelaide Tucker family. Clarence Jr, (Elizabeth) Tucker, Nan Tucker, Ruth Tucker, Penny Tucker and Daryl Tucker. Preceded in death by Myron, Bryant, John, Louie and Diana.
James is preceded in death by his mother Merlyn Stenseth Johnson, father Melvin Stenseth, brother Richard and his sister Diane Allen (John). He is further survived by many special nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
James proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from Delco Electronics after many years of service.
Visitation is to be held Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home from 4:00PM until the time of the prayer vigil at 7:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 6th at 10:30AM at St. Bernard Parish (1500 Wauwatosa Ave, Wauwatosa, WI). James will be laid to rest at a later date at the Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
