Jerome Patrick Kelly (Jerry), born August 7, 1944, in Milwaukee, WI, died September 23, 2018, at age 74. Jerry is survived by his wife, Jean (nee Porubcan), sons Tom (Erin) and Pat, and his favorite granddaughter, Clare Kelly; mother-in-law, Margaret Porubcan. He is further survived by his "kid brother," Jude (Diane) – who spent so much time driving and sitting with Jerry during this past year of various treatments – and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends, who meant everything to him.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ida (Giese), his sister Joan (Becker), and his brothers John and Jim; father-in-law, Edward Porubcan and brother-in-law, Michael Porubcan.
Jerry was founder and owner of Kelmann Restoration in Wauwatosa for 45 years; he had the joy of working with his best friend Dick for most of that time, and with his son, Tom, for the last seven years. The Kelly family has been overwhelmed by the support, prayers and kindness of so many throughout Jerry's illness, and especially thanks the staff of St. Luke's Medical Center. The compassion shown by the 8th floor nursing staff; the liver team; Matt and Mary Kay and the radiology staff; Dr. Hamel and Kristine will never be forgotten. Jerry loved you all just like family and so appreciated the time you spent caring for him and sharing stories. Jerry was truly one-of-a-kind, the type of man who made everyone feel like family. He will be deeply missed.
