On May 11, 2023 Jerry E. Mattison entered into rest at the age of 92. We celebrate his life and his connection with the family and friends who all loved him so dearly.
Among those family who are grateful for the time they had with Jerry are his daughters Barbara (Steven) Bayerlein and Janet (Gregg) Geigler; grandchildren Bradley (Nicole) Bayerlein and their children Ethan, Kaelin, Emery and Harper; Kevin (Heidi) Bayerlein and their daughter Taylor; Angela (Brandon) Garavet and their children Penny, Madeline and Sydney; Bryan (Elizabeth) Geigler and their children Jacob and Oakley; and Hannah (Joshua) Bunting.
Jerry is reunited in Heaven with his late wife Carol J. (nee Sala) Mattison, his parents Harry and Arlene Mattison, brother Donald (Dorothy) Mattison and sister Jean (Don) Noel.
He was in the Air Force and Air National Guard for over 35 years. He also worked for Allen Bradley for over 30 years retiring at age 62.
Together with the family and friends he travelled all over the country and the world in pursuit of new experiences which he loved doing, whether it was the “red van”, campers or flying. When he wasn’t travelling he loved to go fishing and hunting with family and friends.
Jerry was always with family in his everyday life up until the end at Shorehaven in Oconomowoc. Above all, Jerry was devoted to his faith and family.
