Some travel destinations involved these other activities, including Philmont Boy Scout Ranch, Horseshoe Curve, Durango-Silverton Railway, North Platte (nation’s largest train yard), Orlando Disney World, Pensacola, Canadian camping vacations, Sinatra concerts, and the Solar Eclipse of 1979 for starters. He travelled to 49 out of the 50 United States.
