John "Jack" Robert Bowling

John "Jack" Robert Bowling, of Elm Grove, passed away on April 22, 2020 at the age of 93.

He is reunited in Heaven with his wife of 49 years, Mary Pat Bowling.

He will be dearly missed by his children John Patrick Bowling and Mary Lynn (Eric) Dernbach and grandchildren Cody W. Clark, Mikayla Cassidy Clark, Makennah Paige Bowling, and Holly D. Bowling.

John proudly served his country as a Marine during World War II. After marrying his beloved wife Mary Pat and starting their family together, he earned his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Chicago. He enjoyed a long career in various manufacturing backgrounds before retiring as a plant manager. He was an avid fan of sports car racing and loved listening to Jazz music.

Above all, however, John will be remembered for being a fantastic father, grandfather, and friend.

A gathering will take place at a later date to be decided.
