Josy Jacob

Josy N. Jacob, age 95, of Nashville passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at her residence. She was born March 31, 1925 in Gossau, Switzerland, the daughter of Eugen Lorenz and Anna Lorenz-Kunzle.

Josy was a member of Nashville Christian Church and the Ladies Missionary Fellowship at the church and the Swiss Club of Indianapolis.

Josy was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Eugen Lorenz and Viktor Lorenz, and her daughter Janet Haydon-Jacob and son-in-law Thomas Haydon.

Josy is survived by her loving husband Hans Jacob, daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Tom Adams, son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Sherri Jacob, and her grandchildren Tom Adams, Jr., Jason and Trang Adams, Michelle and Chuck Carter, Brent and Kristy Jacob, Dr. Preston Jacob, and Lauren and Matt Dries and 7 great-grandchildren and other family members in Switzerland.

A memorial service will be held at Becker Ritter Funeral Home in Brookfield, Wisconsin for family and close friends. Memorial contributions may be given to Samaritan’s Purse.
