(nee Litzau) Passed away on December 31, 2018 at the age of 79 after a long battle with cancer. Judy joins her beloved husband of 54 years, Tom, in heaven. She was the daughter of Bernard and Genevieve Litzau.
Judy was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament Grade School, 1952, St. Mary’s Academy, 1956, attended Marquette University where she joined the Avalanche Ski Club and there met Tom, the love of her life.
They married February 20, 1960 and were blessed with 7 children; Sue Bickler, Beth (Borislav) Sucevic, Mary (Lance) Zabrowski, John (Roxanne) Bickler, Claire (Mike) Bates, Val (Paul) Mueller, and Ben (Angie) Bickler; 12 grandchildren; Anne, Dan, Elizabeth, Thomas, Alex, Michael, Tony, Jen, Dakota, Sarah, Lauren, and Leah; and 4 great grandchildren; Emily, Olivia, Allison, and Liam. She is also survived by her brothers Jim (Jane) Litzau and Larry Litzau and brother-in-law Richard (Lynne) Bickler. Also fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
The family would like to thank both Dr. William Bradley and staff, and Dr. Christopher Sobczak and staff of Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin for their loving care, as well as Horizon Hospice and specifically Kari for the loving care she provided to Judy.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 7 from 4PM to 7:30PM. Additional visitation to be held on Tuesday, January 8 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (12130 W Center St, Wauwatosa, WI 53222) from 9:30AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Procession to Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Wauwatosa or the Women’s Health Research Program of Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
