Kay Elizabeth Loomis-Peterson, 76, was born on Feb. 17, 1941 and passed away peacefully on Oct. 16, 2017.

She is lovingly remembered and survived by her husband, James Peterson; cherished mother of Brendan Klueckman and Mikayla (Jim) Nuernberg and beloved grandmother to six grandchildren. She will be further missed by her siblings Gary (Nancy) Loomis, Iris Klatt, Wendy Fitch and Carlin Loomis. Kay was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Kay worked at St. Mary’s School in Altoona, WI and then moved to Milwaukee, WI in 1990 where she retired from Zilber Ltd.

She was an avid runner and ran in several races around the country including the Boston Marathon. Kay also enjoyed hiking, boating and spending time with her family. Kay and her husband were members of South Shore Yacht Club and enjoyed cruising on their boat.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 24th from 9:30 am until the 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Christ King Catholic Church, 2604 North Swan Road, Wauwatosa, WI 53226.
