Keith Warren Algozin

Passed away peacefully on August 29, 2021 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Mary for 57 wonderful years. Devoted father of Katie (Fred) Whitehead, Elaine (David) Lee and Sam. Caring grandpa of Sophia Whitehead and Raven Lee. Loving brother of Jan (Ron) Little, Bruce (Cheri), the late Nancy, and Petrecia (Michael) Shales. Keith will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Keith dedicated his life to knowledge and learning. He taught philosophy at Marquette University for many years. He was educated at Beloit College, Yale University, and Marquette University, where he met his wife, Mary. Keith studied at The University of Göttingen in Germany as a Fulbright Scholar. He loved golf and reading and spent his retirement years enjoying both. He was also a US Army veteran.

Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Keith’s name may be made to the Evans Scholars Foundation, Marquette University to Beloit College.
