(nee Schneiberg) passed away suddenly Saturday morning, May 27, 2017 with her beloved husband Robert at her side. She was born in Milwaukee on July 16, 1936. Survived by her devoted children, daughter Ann (Len) Niggemann and six sons, Gregg Gaertner, James (Judy Yanke) Gaertner, John (Joy) Gaertner, Patrick (Christine) Gaertner, Paul (Jennifer) Gaertner, Andrew (Tracey) Wadsworth. Special sister of Terry Tobin and Pamela (Don) Jonovic. Grandchildren Matthew (Christina), Rebecca and Michael, Kimberly, Bradley and Kristine, Dana and Remy, and 4 great grandchildren. Bob’s children Donald (Sue) Jahncke and Kathleen (Gene) Schaber, nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends mourn her passing. Preceded in death by her husband Richard Gaertner, and grandson Daniel Niggemann.
Lois was a past president of the Christ Child Society. St. Joseph’s parish benefitted in many ways from her generous sharing of time and talent. Lois was never too busy to help family, friends or strangers along her way.

We will be celebrating Lois’ life at St. Joseph’s Church in Wauwatosa, 12130 West Center Street at 11:30AM, Saturday, June 3, with visitation beginning at the church at 9:30 AM preceding the Mass. Internment will be private.
