Luanne Jean Bengston

(Nee. Weber), age 74, was born to eternal life on June 6, 2022, 20 days shy of her 75th birthday. Dear wife of Allan for 52 years; loving mom of Deanne Jean (Craig) Neuens and Scott Allan Bengston; beloved grandma of 1 granddaughter, Kodi, and 3 grandsons, Kyle, Nolan, and Braden; “adopted” granddaughters, Sarah and Holly; also loved by many other relatives and friends.

Luanne had a very deep love for children and this showed in her years spent at Premiere Ecole in Elm Grove. She had a special way of communicating with children and was able to easily calm them down and give them peace. She loved the little town of Rib Lake and in her youth, she would spend an entire month there in the summer. She enjoyed her many trips to Door County with her family, particularly camping at Peninsula State Park. Luanne collected various figurines and loved white churches. Therefore, when you see a white church, think about Luanne.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the funeral home from 4:00-6:00 pm and on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 am at Unity Lutheran Church-Christ the King Campus, 4600 Pilgrim Road, Brookfield, WI. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am, followed by entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the church or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or as the family directs.
