Gone to her Eternal Home on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the age of 98. Cherished mother of James F. (Kathryn) Sanborn, Catherine J. (Steven) Johnson and Patricia J. (John) Gillespie. Loving grandma of James (fiancee Jessica Smith) Sanborn, Joe Sanborn, Beth (Terry) Johnson, Todd (Angela) Morris, Brian (Melinda) Morris, Mark (Susan) Schock, Doug (Becky) Lane, Taylor (Nick) Buetow, Blake (fiancé Mitchell Rowen) Gillespie, Meghan (Brian) Blaney,  and John (Sarah) Gillespie, Jr. Dear great grandma of Eva Sanborn, Christopher Johnson, Addison Johnson, Finn Morris, Rachel Morris, Tenley Morris, Emma Schock, Allison Schock, Evelyn Lane, Josephine Lane, Leah Jean Buetow, Henry Blaney, Jack Gillespie, Christina Gillespie, William Gillespie, and Andrew Gillespie. Preceded in death by her husband James Frank Sanborn and siblings Jane, Virginia, Beth, and Ira. Also loved by other relatives and friends.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 11AM-12PM. Funeral Service at 12PM. Burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials appreciated to Women & Girls Fund of Waukesha County.

Margaret was a longtime resident of Elm Grove, Brookfield, Wisconsin and Palm City, Florida and a longtime member of Community United Methodist Church, Oconomowoc Golf Club and Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club in Palm City, Florida.

Margaret was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Her heart was one of unconditional and sacrificial love.
