Marjorie "Pat" Ann (Bromberg) Schoenecker

Marjorie (Pat) Schoenecker passed away peacefully August 29, 2019 surrounded by family at the age of 93. Pat will be missed dearly by her children David (Rebecca), Christine, Elizabeth (Wayne), Roberta (Mike), Mary Ellen (Mike), Martin (Julie), Laurie (John), daughter-in-law Mary Ellen, 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is reunited in Heaven with her loving husband of 72 years, Dr. John “Jack” Schoenecker; as well as with her oldest son, John Schoenecker Jr. 

Pat took pride in her home and raising her eight children.  Although not as social as her husband, Pat made people around her feel comfortable by relating to them and sharing stories.  Pat was a member of St. Mary’s Parish in Elm Grove, where she was devoted to her prayers.  She is often referred to lovingly as “my cool grandma” by friends.  She was an avid reader, baker, gardener and enjoyed watching historical films. Pat and Jack enjoyed traveling, especially to Miller’s Resort and Elderhostel destinations.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 11am until noon.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Visitation Parish 1260 Church St., Elm Grove, WI.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Visitation Cemetery.
