Marvin G. Pribyl, age 84, Brookfield resident, died on August 25, 2018.
Born on April 24, 1934 to George and Tillie (Stangel) Pribyl, Marvin graduated from Kewaunee High School (1952) and UW-Madison (1958) with a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served in the US Army Corps of Engineers for six years and attained the rank of Captain.
Employed by Allis-Chalmers and the JI Case Corporations, Marvin worked in Agricultural Tractor Engineering Divisions for 42 years and was a licensed WI Professional Engineer. He also was a consultant to the Mahindra Tractor Co. in Mumbai, India for 4 years. During retirement, he was a volunteer driver for the Waukesha Co. Interfaith Senior Programs for over 10 years.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Annette (nee Pelikan) and three sons; Brian (Christine) of Austin, TX, Ross of Cleveland, David (Julie) of Wilmington, NC; and six grandchildren. His other relatives include a sister Genevieve (Kenneth) Hostak and a brother, Donald Pribyl, plus nieces and nephews; also, Kathy Pribyl of Austin, TX.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Camillus Foundation (Memory Care Unit) of Wauwatosa, WI.
A funeral service in memory of Marvin will be held on Thursday, August 30, starting with a Visitation at 1:00 PM, and a Christian Mass at 2:00 PM at Saint Mary's Visitation Catholic Church at 1260 Church St, of Elm Grove.
