Mary Lois Rauen

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Dear sister of Jerry (Gert) and Tom (Carol) Rauen. Dear aunt of Larry (Fay), Donna (Curt) Allen, Judy (Dennis) Riemer, Gary (Barb), the late Terry (Dan) Perry, Sue Syvok, Cathy (Larry) Kaplan, Peggy (Rich) Beckmann and Mike (Stacy). Further survived by other great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends.

Mary graduated from Messmer High School in 1952. Upon graduation, she began her career as a legal secretary. In 1959 she started working at the Milwaukee County Courthouse working her way up to become the secretary of the county executive and the county board. She retired in 1990. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (3970 N. 92nd St., Milwaukee) from 11am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm. Private family entombment.

If desired, memorials may be made to St. Anne Salvatorian Campus, Messmer Catholic Schools or the Alzheimer’s Association.
