Tribute

Melissa Lynn Zeroth-Sigler, 31, passed away with her family at her side on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in Waukesha, WI. She will be deeply missed and loved forever by her devoted husband, Paul; mother, Laura Ludins; father, David Zeroth; brother, David Zeroth, as well as, her Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many additional family and friends.

Melissa lost her 6 year battle with cancer which she always faced with a determined and positive attitude. She attributed that to having a great support system of family and friends.

Melissa graduated from Brookfield Central High school in 2006. She went on to UW-Milwaukee and graduated with her B.S. in Environmental Science in 2010. After college she worked for the DNR where she taught young students about the environment. Melissa had also enjoyed volunteering working on projects for Habitat of Humanity and Kaboom.

Melissa has resided in Dallas, TX since 2012 where she worked for Home Depot and most recently Trane as a Project Administrator.

Melissa was a definite "foodie" whether it was cooking, dining out, trying new foods, or just watching cooking shows. Melissa also had a great love for her dog (and best buddy) Jameson who was always by her side.

Melissa enjoyed traveling very much and looked at each trip as an adventure. She loved taking in scenery and exploring the likes of Mexico, Florida, Colorado, Washington, South Carolina, and Arizona. Her last trip was to Las Vegas in August of 2019, where she married the love of her life Paul.

Always looking to be active, Melissa enjoyed spending time outside by any means whether it be a casual run or sitting on a restaurant patio with her husband. She became interested in tennis in high school and enjoyed playing in her spare time. A known lover of nature, Melissa would traverse local hiking spots and trails giving her the chance to enjoy the hidden gems in Wisconsin and Texas. She would be the first to tell you which plants were invasive.

Melissa's infectious smile and personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Melissa's best friend Andrea Brown who has been with Melissa on her journey since High School. She has been a great support to not only Melissa but to the entire family during this time.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 4:00 pm until the 6:00 pm Funeral Service at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home, 14075 W. North Ave., Brookfield, WI.
