Natalie LaBarbera, age 87, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend died peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Three Pillars Nursing Home in Dousman, WI.
She was born in Milwaukee & graduated from West High School. She loved high school activities and was a cheerleader. She started working at Allis-Chalmers, where she met and soon married the love of her life, Peter. They worked hard and saved enough to buy a house in Brookfield where they raised their son Bob & daughter Patty, and she lived there for over 50 years.
Natalie cared for people and always made time for them. She was an incredible listener and usually had smart, caring advice, but never pushed it on anybody. She had the skills of a therapist without the degree. She was a voracious reader, especially murder mysteries.
Natalie was preceded in death by her husband Peter, parents John & Nina (Snodie) Nares, sisters Anita (& Bill) Heuer, Rita (& Ken) Stegall.
She is survived by her sisters Pat (Glenn) Kuhn & Johneen (Don) Grassel, son Robert (Karen) and grandson Kevin, daughter Patricia, and grandson Zachary as well as scores of nieces & nephews. She loved all of them.
