Pat Hardin Shirriffs

Pat Hardin Shirriffs was a loving and proud father, Papa, and friend. He suddenly left this world at the age of 61 on October 31, 2021. He is survived by his four children, Jaime Lauber (Ryan), Danielle Treiber (Noah), Trevor Shirriffs (Kendall), Taylor Shirriffs (Leslie); grandchildren Ellie, Hunter, Sophie, Stella, Hudson, Molly, Hayes, Shepherd, Oliver, Cash and one due in January; along with many other friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, William.

Pat’s life would seem too short to many but those who knew him understood that he didn’t waste a moment between spending time with his family, flying his plane, riding his Harley, repairing something in the garage or lending a helping hand. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and care for others. He was a skilled mechanic and had the ability to fix anything. He lived simply but left behind many memories, likely to bring laughter, with most everyone he knew. His bright blue eyes, contagious laugh and distinct mannerisms will forever be remembered.

Because of his irrational dislike towards traditional funeral services, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 from 11am-2pm at the hanger of Hartford Municipal Airport, 4200 Airport Dr. Hartford, WI 53027. The memorial service will start shortly after 11am with food to follow, to allow time for fellowship of friends and family; casual attire/jeans are welcome.
