Peter Eui-Kyung Chang was born to Eternal Life on November 21, 2018, at the age of eighty-three. He was the husband of Helen Chang for a period of 49 years and 344 days. They have one son Daniel (Anna) Chang. He treasured and loved his grandchildren Henry Micah and Beatrix Hope. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Chang Se Gul and Kim Duk Hwan along with a sister and a brother, Paul. He has been blessed in this life with loving and attentive nieces and nephews, dear relatives and many friends.
We will long remember Peter as Peter- never Pete. He was always ready to cook for a party, try something new, argue, golf, travel, volunteer for his many causes and dress well. He accepted challenges of which friends have many stories, whether it be roofing a house or purchasing machinery that he could not operate. Much to smile about, however these were the skills that made an endearing personality, a positive force and a willing worker for his team, his church, his Rotary Club and his family.
Peter was a graduate of Soongsil University in Seoul, Korea, Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH.
Visitation in honor of Peter will be held at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church (1615 Wauwatosa Ave, Wauwatosa, WI) on December 1, 2018 from 12:30PM until the time of service at 2:00PM. Private interment will be held at another date.
