He attended Carthage College where he received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics, played basketball and was a member of the Delta Omega Nu fraternity. He then attended UWM and earned his Master’s degree in Mathematics Education. He spent 37 years as a High School math teacher, primarily at Germantown High School where he met his wife Carol and was the Department Chair for the mathematics department. Rich enjoyed photography, hiking, golf, spending time at Lake Arrowhead and being the ultimate Packers and Brewers fan. His commitment to his family was second to none. After his retirement in 2009, he lived his life being the most devoted, loving, and best father and Papa one could ever imagine!
