Rita C. (Hartl) Burg

Rita Burg resident of St Camillus Retirement Community in Wauwatosa, formerly of Elm Grove, passed away on Saturday, July 24th at the age of 97.

Rita was born on January 3, 1924 to parents Victor and Marie Hartl and grew up on a small farm in Birchwood, Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her husband Leo, her sisters Mary Ann, Bette, Patricia, and Camille, and her brother Buddy.

She is survived by her sisters Ione and Ruth, her children Lisa and Steve (Aurora) Burg, and many nieces and nephews.

We will always hold her close to our hearts.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday July 31, 2021, at the funeral home, from 11 AM until the time of Rita’s Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Visitation Cemetery.
