Rita J. (Pugliese) Trunzo

Passed away on October 5,2018. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Nicholas, (Nick) and cherished son, Thomas, (Tom), her parents, Dominick and Rose Pugliese and sisters, Ann Pann, Katharine Minicucci and Mary Pagnotto.

Rita was born in Pittson, PA and attended Little Flower Catholic School in Philadelphia. After graduation, she moved to Scranton, PA where she was employed by the General Electric Corporation and met the love of her life, Nick. Rita continued her career with General Electric at Appliance Park, Louisville, KY and volunteered at St. Rita's Parish, Louisville.

Rita and her husband moved to Milwaukee where they raised two sons, Robert and Thomas. She continued her volunteer work at Brookfield Central High School. Rita was a longtime member of Merrill Hills Country Club where she was an avid golfer. Rita is survived by her son Robert (Anne) and three grandchildren, Christina (Charles Hannon), John and Daniel.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Vianney Catholic Parish, 1755 N. Calhoun, Brookfield, WI 53005. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Wakuesha, WI.

Memorials in Rita’s honor may be made to St. John Vianney Catholic Parish.
