Robert "Bob" Heitzer

Passed away peacefully on August 23, 2023 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Gail. Caring dad of Erich (Christina), Julia (Ben), Jenna (Casey) Rinehart, and Emily (Matt) White. Proud grandpa of Maevy, Dylan, Sawyer and Scarlett. Dear brother of Art (Sandy). Bob will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Bob was born on June 13, 1942 to Michael and Elsie Heitzer. He was raised with a strong family foundation and was proud of his German heritage. He became a talented chemist but the greatest chemistry he created came from his love with Gail. Bob was devoted husband, a devoted dad and an adored grandpa. His love for family and friends was evident in every encounter they shared with Bob. He was a pillar of his community often attending community forums and gatherings, and he was a neighbor many were proud to call their friend. He was always fond of cars and animals, especially his dog Scout. He was a lifelong Packer fan and season ticket holder. Bob’s life was full, rich and rewarding. He loved what he had and had what he loved. He will be missed, but we are all grateful to have had him in our lives.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 29, 2023 at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM. Service will be held at 2:30 PM. Following the services, we will be gathering at the Grand Hall for a toast to Bob at The Landing at Hoyt Park, Grand Hall. 1800 N Swan Blvd, Wauwatosa, WI 53226.
