Roger H. Spahr

October 25,1934-March 24, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 62 happy years Shirley Spahr; sons John (Anne) Spahr and Andrew (Catherine) Spahr; grandchildren, Owen and Lola Spahr.

Roger was born in Milwaukee, WI and attended Wauwatosa East and University of Wisconsin-Madison.  After 50 years of experience, he was an accomplished commerical and industrial cost estimator of concrete, stone, marble and granite.  He was credited with successful bids on Santiago Calatrava's Milwaukee Art Museum addition, The Bradley Center, St. Joseph's Hospital Cancer Center addition, St. Luke's Hospital additions, North and South Division High School additions and numerous other structures throughout South Eastern Wisconsin.

Roger was in service to the Elm Grove Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years where he served as a Firefighter and moved through the ranks from Motor Pump Operator to Lieutenant, then Captain, then Deputy Chief.  In recent years he served in an administrative role.  He also was a member of the WI State Fire Fighters Association, WI State Fire Chief's Association, AGC (Allied General Contractors), Builders Trades United Pension Trust Fund Board of Trustees, and served in the U.S. Army. 

Roger loved his family, his occupation and was committed to his community.
