Ruth E. (Rang) Nelson

(nee Rang) Ruth was born January 19, 1929 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to Charles and Bessie (nee Markert) Rang and passed away on August 26, 2018, at the age of 89. She grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Rufus King High School in 1947. After working various jobs including the Cotton Shop in Milwaukee, she met and married Leonard Nelson on September 7th, 1950. Lenny passed on April 11, 1984 leaving Ruth a widow at age 55.

Ruth leaves behind a son Marc (Lynn Anne Huber) and daughter Kim (Norm Wahn) Nelson of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Charles, Michael (Meghan), and David Wahn, Eddie (Julie Danninger) and Ella Nelson, plus two great granddaughters, Emelia June and Elliana Ruth Wahn. She also leaves behind many other family and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 3pm until the time of service at 5pm at Mount Zion Lutheran Church (12012 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa). Committal service at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 12 Noon.
