Ruth Anderton (Mueller) Rod

Passed away peacefully on June 12, 2021 at the age of 90. Beloved mom of Vida (Ralph) Cruz. Adored grandma of Joel Cruz. Loving aunt of James (Diane) Pandl. Caring great-aunt of Ryan Pandl, Nicole (Daniel) Kreuscher. Dear cousin of Holly Melloch, Megan (Brian) Stangler, and Mark Kroening. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Helen and Henry Mueller and her sister Joyce (Robert) Pandl. Ruth will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Ruth graduated from Mount Mary College in 1953 and went on to teach in the Greenfield and Milwaukee Public Schools for over 30 years. She was a world traveler. Whether it was a trip “Up North” or a river cruise in France, Ruth was always ready for an adventure.  

A Visitation will be held on Friday June 18, 2021, at the funeral home, from 4 PM until 7 PM. A private family service and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Three Pillars Staff Appreciation and Emergency Fund, 410 N Main St. Dousman, WI 53118, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
