Sandra S. (Stockdale) WeberMarch 11, 1945 ~ December 17, 2017 (age 72)
Wife and best friend of John. Sandra entered Heaven into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on December 17, 2017 at the age of 72. Born in Atlanta, GA to Sidney and Dorothy Stockdale. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Luella. Sandra will be deeply missed by John; her sons’ Michael (Erin) and Matthew (Eve); her daughter Jennifer (Sal); grandchildren Samantha, Sal and Luella; brother-in-law Steve (Madalene) and her niece and nephews.
Sandra was a warm, wonderful wife, mother and educator. After receiving her master’s degree in speech pathology at Marquette University, she worked at Curative Rehabilitation Center and did post-graduate training in London and Zurich. In 1975, Sandra joined the Milwaukee Public School (MPS) system working with young children with feeding problems.
She was a self-taught, passionate computer “techy”, who developed and became the first director of the Assistive Technology Department at MPS. She consulted throughout southeastern WI and taught undergraduate speech pathology courses at UWM.
Sandra truly enjoyed every moment of involvement in her children’s lives. She was a Cub Scout leader for many years and an active school parent at St. Joseph Parish in Wauwatosa.
Sandra retired from MPS in 2005 and became “active” at St. Dominic Parish. She loved photography, beading and long camping trips with her husband.
